Here at Ethnic Celebrations good customer service is our essential ingredient. We aim to provide a top class service at a reliable price and we can assure you that you the customer feels valued.
Choosing your Card!
Choosing the right card could not be easier. Search on our amazing online store and select and design of your choice and add your purchase to our shopping cart. You can choose our standard card or you can customise the front or the inside of your card with a special message of your choice. Writing a message on the front and the inside will be at an additional cost, this is indicated clearly at the point of sale. Once you have customised your card you proceed to our ‘Checkout’ and finalise your purchase.
Stock
Stock is not an issue as most of our cards are made to order. Pre made cards are always in stock but in very rare instances there may be a shortage due to high demand of certain designs. If this is the case we will make sure you are informed straight away and will ensure that the item(s) ordered will be dispatched as soon as possible.
Payment
Payment can be made using any one of the following three methods:
| Order by Internet | Simply order through the website, submit your card details and payment is processed using PayPal’s secure and protected processing system. |
| Order by telephone | Pick up the phone and call us to place an order and we will take your payment details over the telephone. |
| Payment by cheque/bank transfer | Call us, place an order and we can accept payment by cheque or bank transfer. We will dispatch your order as soon as the funds clear. |
Once your order has been placed
Once you have placed your order, you will receive an email of confirmation. This email is also classed as your receipt. Once your payment has cleared your order will be dispatched. We aim to dispatch all orders as soon as possible (unless otherwise requested) - within 2 working days excluding weekends and public holidays. Orders received after midday on Friday, at weekends and public holidays will be dispatched the next working day.
Please allow time for dispatching your orders during busy periods of the year. Cultural events and Christmas are our busiest times when we have a huge amount of orders and we try to accommodate everyone as we know these times are the most important to you.
Postage & Packaging
Ethnic Celebrations print and dispatch all our orders from within the UK. We use the latest equipment to deliver high quality greeting cards. All our products are delivered using First Class or Airmail posts, which are based on approximate weight and size of items, cost of packaging materials and delivery charges. The Postage and Packaging costs include envelopes.
We use Royal Mail to deliver your orders to your specified location. There are many different options available as we know that some orders may be left to the last minute. We recommend using Royal Mail Recorded or Courier service as you will be able to track your orders (we are unable to guarantee delivery times). The cost of postage and packaging varies depending on the value of the items as follows:

*First Class Delivery
*In accordance with Royal Mail, 90% of First Class Deliveries will be delivered the following day but unfortunately the other 10% can take up to 3 days.
Important Note: If you choose to use this method of delivery Ethnic Celebrations can NOT accept any responsibility for lost or damaged items or guarantee delivery times.
*Recorded Delivery / Courier Service
A signature is required for all Recorded deliveries so please ensure that someone is available to sign for the item at your specified location. We cannot take responsibility for orders that are not delivered or have been returned due to non-delivery. If you do not inform us of non-delivery within 14 days of payment then it is deemed that delivery has been made and accepted.
There may be a surcharge for orders to parts of Scotland and Channel Islands.
*Special Delivery
You can also choose to send to all UK addresses using Royal Mail’s Special Delivery service. Please note that this will be at an increased cost. A special delivery ordered before 2pm and dispatched Monday – Thursday is guaranteed for delivery before 2pm the following day. A £2 is charge for Special Deliveries ordered by 2pm on Friday for guaranteed delivery by 2pm on Saturday.
Cards will NOT be dispatched or delivered on public holidays.
The courier service also requires a signature on delivery. If no one is available to sign for the delivery then the courier will try to leave the item with a neighbour however if this is not possible they will leave a calling card for you to re-arrange delivery.
International Delivery
Ethnic Celebrations would be happy to delivery items overseas. Costs will vary depending on the country of delivery. Please contact us and we can give you a quote for shipping and delivery times.

Privacy and Data Policy
Ethnic Celebrations makes a commitment to protecting your privacy and promises only to use information collected about you in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. When you place an Order, we may ask you for certain information and you may submit personal data to customisedgreetingcards.co.uk (for example your name, phone number, postal address, email address, contact and bank / credit card details). This information will be kept securely in accordance with our internal security policy and may be used to:
- Process your Order;
- Provide you with an up to date, efficient, and reliable service;
- Help fraud prevention i.e. we check card details with our credit agency and reserve the right to refuse Orders on that basis
By making an Order and submitting your data you agree to this use.
We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent.
Returns or Damaged Goods
If you would like to return your items or change your mind you can request a refund within 7 days of the transaction. The amount refunded will be the sum of the original payment less the cost of postage. Refunds can only be made to the credit or debt card account used to make the original purchase.
Although Ethnic Celebrations takes every care and attention in ensuring that all items are delivered in good condition, if, in the unlikely event you have received a damaged item (which was not damaged in transit – this needs to be proved) then all damaged items must be returned to us at your own expense within 7 days of receiving the item. Please return all items to the office address indicated in "Contact Us". We will be happy to offer a replacement of the damaged item or refund the full amount of the item to the credit or debit card account used to make the original purchase (excludes delivery). If you still require the item we will reprint and resend the item at no extra cost.
Customer Service is really important to us. Any complaints will be acknowledged and we aim to resolve the matter a.s.a.p. If you have any enquiries or complaints contact us immediately on the number shown in "Contact Us"
General
These terms and conditions have been created in respect of this website. By processing orders you are agreeing to these terms and conditions. We may vary these terms and conditions from time to time without notice and you should therefore check them each time you intend to use the website.
